Betty Norton named Chief Academic Officer
We are excited to announce that Betty Norton, Xceed’s previous President of Education, Affiliates Division has recently been promoted to Chief Academic Officer. In her new position, she will work directly with the Heads of School to improve all aspects of the day-to-day student experience, along with working to open new schools.
Betty shared, “I am incredibly honored and excited to take on this new role as Chief Academic Officer. In this new role, I will continue to promote and support Xceed’s efforts in creating a personalized learning experience for our students and families. I would also like to thank the elite team I work with, who, without their support, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
Betty takes on this new position with over six years at Xceed under her belt and more than 28 years in education. With experience in public and private education, Gifted and Exceptions Student Education, Title I schools, and in-person, virtual and hybrid schools, Betty has a diverse background stepping into 2023. Within her six years at Xceed, she has climbed from Head of School to Head of Xceed Prep Virtual School, to President of Education, and now to Chief Academic Officer. This new milestone for Betty is yet another professional achievement this school year, following being honored as the 2022 WIN Woman of the Year by the WIN Summit.
