National Decision Day: Xceed’s Seniors Choose Their Next Adventure

It was an exciting day at Xceed when our high school seniors celebrated National Decision Day, marking their choices for college. The event, held on May 1, 2024, at all of the South Florida campuses, was a fun opportunity for the school community to honor our graduating class’ hard work, dedication, and bright futures. Seniors gathered to share their college decisions and celebrate with their peers.

Seniors wore t-shirts representing the colleges they plan to attend, while staff and younger students wore school shirts to support them. Some of those schools are students were accepted to include the University of Florida, University of Connecticut, William and Mary, Syracuse University, Florida State University, Lehigh University, the the Institution of Art of Chicago, Nova Southeastern and more!

Seniors posed in front of the graduation-themed backdrop, held signs with their college names, and marked their future college locations on our interactive map. The photos captured the fun and excitement of the day.

Throughout the event, seniors had the chance to announce their college choices to their peers and teachers. The school community celebrated each announcement with cheers and applause, recognizing the achievements of our graduating class.

Plenty of food and drinks were available to keep the energy up. Students enjoyed delicious treats while mingling and sharing their excitement about their plans.

National Decision Day was a moment to reflect on our seniors’ journey to reach this milestone. It was a time to appreciate the friendships, the lessons, and the experiences that shaped them throughout high school. Most importantly, it celebrated the new challenges and adventures that await them in college and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who made National Decision Day a success, from the college advising team, teachers and staff who organized the event to the students who enthusiastically participated. It was a day to remember, filled with laughter, joy, and many memorable moments.
